  1. 1- What is so special about Recupefashion

    Whether you buy a handmade, a vintage or any other items from Recupefashion Store, you will always get a great product from RecupefashionRecupefashion was born when I couldn’t work outside my home anymore.

    I use to create upcycled clothing and selling them in OOAK specialty stores in Montreal, Quebec. 

    But I underwent 3 major back surgeries and after all this, I suffer from chronical pain and I can hardly get around so I created Recupefashion online and started to create smaller Eco-friendly gifts, Accessories and Jewelry.

    I also started to sell small vintage items, vintage fabric, vintage toys, vintage jewelry, vintage patterns, vintage sewing supplies and more.  I also sell surprise fabric bags which contain many things, such as square cotton fabric pieces of course, but also all sorts of knick-knacks.  There will be some: buttons, thread spools, different ribbons, threads and yarn pieces, smaller fabric pieces to make Barbie doll clothing or yo-yo flowers, there will beads, charms and lots lots more.

    I sell all these vintage items because to me, it is recycling.

    This way, they don't go to waste. Once I sell an item, it gets to go to another home, with a person that cares about it and it lives on for another period of time.  I find that it's important to keep these items alive so that other generations get to see these beautiful items.

    So, no matter which item you buy from Recupefashion, you can certain of the guarantee we offer.  You will get a beautifully made product, a beautiful vintage find or a fun supply to work with.

    2- What are my payment options

     We accept Paypal, Visa, Master Card and American Express.  We also have accelerated checkout via Google Pay, Apple Pay and Shopify Pay. 

    You also have the option to register as a guest or a customer.

     

    3- Do you accept wholesale and custom work?

    Yes, and I encourage it.

    I will be very happy to work with you on your project

    I usually can give up to 30% discount on an order of 13-15 items depending on the project.

    I will need between 60%-75% of the total amount for material and will need the balance before shipping.  I love working with my customers. So get in touch with me with your projects.

    I will also need a copy of your wholesale permit(contract, blame the taxman, yeah!

    And if you need something custom no problem, let me know and we can work on something together.  It will be a lot of fun.

     

     

    4- When will my order be shipped?

    All ready to ship orders and items ship within 1-2 days.

    If its a customized order, then depending on what the item is, I let you know in advance how long it takes so you can take a decision if you will order or not.

     

     

     

    5- How Long will it take to receive my order?

    That depends on which Canada Post parcel services you choose and where you're located.

    You need to know that I ship from Quebec, Canada.

    Within Canada, to within Canada, it takes around 3-5 days.

    Within Canada, to the Us, with tracking, it takes around 3-7 days, without tracking up to 2 weeks.

    Within Canada, to the International, with tracking, it can take anywhere from 2-3 weeks and less and up to 5-8 weeks and sometimes more, when all goes well. But with International orders, you never know.

     

    So please stay calm, simply email me with your tracking number and order number and I will be happy to help you out.  I love my customers and I love to help them out.

     

     

    6- Can I cancel an order?

    Yes, but there will be a charge of $5. 

         You see, people don't realize this, but once an order comes in, there is a lot of time in preparing the order:

         I need to go and get the item out of stock and then I carefully and beautifully pack it up as if it were a gift whether it's a handmade or vintage item.

    I try to use recycled wrapping and stuffing paper as much as I can since I'm a recycling artist. But when I pack items like dishes, glasses and other fragile items I do use styrofoam popcorn stuffing beans, to make certain that the item stays well protected, and these foam beads are new unless I have some that I can recycle...  Oh yes, let's not forget the receipt and the handmade thank you note.

    Then there's the shipping box to put the item in and then, of course, the shipping label which I print myself. So you see, if you cancel, I will need to throw away the shipping label, unwrap the shipping box, then try not to tear the wrapping paper and stuffing paper so I can use it on other projects since I recycle.  And then I restock the item. 

         So you see, cancelling an order is as time-consuming as filling it out.  And this is why there's a charge of $5.

    The following items can't be cancelled, returned or exchanged:

    1-Custom or personalized orders.

    2-Intimate items (for hygiene reasons)

    3-Earrings

    4-Items on sale(final sale, no returns)

     

    7- Can I return an Item?

    Yes, returns are accepted at Recupefashion, but I do urge you to take a good look at the items before you decide to buy them. Don't hesitate to ask me anything about any item you want to buy, just so you are certain.  But if you're not satisfied, I'm not.  So in the event that you do want to return something please check my Return Policies.
