-This is a listing for a beautiful variety of vintage fancy polyester, casein buttons just like the button card. Each one is more beautiful than the other.
-On this card, there are 41 casein buttons in a multitude of textures and colours.
-I call them my sherbet buttons. Because of the way the marbling is done on the buttons.
-They are truly beautiful.
-These buttons measure 3/4" in diameter.
-Under each button, you can see its name so the shop owner could identify it and order which buttons he/she wanted.
-These are 4 hole buttons.
***This card was for the salesclerk that use to go from store to store and ask the owner if they needed any buttons and he would show them these button cards.
-The owner of the store would then pick which buttons he/she wanted and order the buttons he/she liked from the card.
-You see, you can have a better idea of what you're buying when you really see the buttons then when you are looking at a catalogue.
I don't know where these buttons come from since it isn't written anywhere on the button card.***
-These buttons are glued to the cardboard.
-Simply soak in water a little while and gently scratch the paper off the button.
-Then you have all these pretty buttons to use in your next sewing or crafting project.
-These are really beautiful buttons.
-Or you can put them in a frame and mount them on your wall as if they were a piece of art. Because you know these buttons do come from around the 1960's, so they are kind of a piece of art.
